Farm-fresh produce, delicious food, arts and crafts, and live entertainment! Held weekly April through September from 6-9pm (rain or shine), the market is a street festival and certified farmers' market.

2012 Season Updates:

Vendors on Broadway between 3rd & 4th Street will be moving to the center of the street. Our objective in making this move is to improve customer circulation and re-engage downtown retailers on this block, a critical element to the success of the market and the vitality of downtown Chico as a whole. We request that our valuable vendor-partners who have become accustomed to occupying booth space on this block be flexible and open to the possibility of a location and/or booth configuration change. We recognize the new layout may pose challenges for staff and vendors, primarily during load-in and load-out times. Additionally, it may also affect access to power, proximity to vendors’ vehicles, and actual booth display for some. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this transition as we are confident these changes will lead to a better overall market experience for our members and guests! Celebrating the magic of the season

Produced by the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) and funded in part by the City of Chico, the Tree Lightingis a gift to the community. Crowds will enjoy a musical program and participate in the countdown to light the tree.

Downtown Chico treats you right!

Monday, October 31st from 2-5pm

Treat Street is a safe and fun adventure for children 12 and under. It's simple... wear a costume, bring a parent and get ready to stroll downtown Halloween-style.

Dozens of Downtown businesses are listed on the Treat Street route, just follow the map to the sweetest merchants in town! Be on the look out for special posters in the windows of participating businesses. Activities, entertainment and special vendors will be set up in City Plaza.

Dont forget about the costue contest, with valuable prizes being offered in five categories!  Special thanks to our costume contest sponsor, Tres Hombres Longbar & Grill.

In the spirit of the holiday...Give Back!

Downtown business owners are finding creative ways to give back to the community by participating in the “Downtown Gives Back Charity Drive.”

While dozens of Downtown business owners give generously throughout the year to local schools, non-profits and fundraising events, the “Downtown Gives Back Holiday Drive” gives business owners and their customers the opportunity to join forces and resources. Shop at these Downtown businesses during the month of December and help support our community.
