Dating back to 1871, Collier’s Hardware and the building it is located in have a long  history in Downtown Chico. A family-owned and operated business, the Lucena family has fully owned Collier’s Hardware since 1971. Over the years, numerous family members have contributed to the success of the business. The store is truly a family atmosphere as Lucena brothers, Marc, Steve and Matt and father Syl all work at the store full-time.

“At times, there have been three generations working at the store,” Marc said.
