Overview

The Art & Wine Walk is Downtown Chico's evening celebration of local art and culture. Attendees stroll through downtown, explore gallery receptions and in-store exhibits, and enjoy curated tastings of wine, beer, and cider. Live music and special installations create a welcoming atmosphere throughout the district.

What to Expect

• Tastings: Sample wine, beer, and cider at participating downtown businesses.
• Art Showcases: View works by local artists presented in galleries, storefronts, and pop-up spaces.
• Live Music: Musicians and small ensembles will be scheduled at select locations to enhance the experience.

Event Policies

• Age & ID: You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check in and may be re-checked at tasting locations.
• Tasting Glasses & Wristband Required for Tasting: To participate in alcohol tasting, you must purchase a ticket and check in at one of our designated Ticket Stations on the day of the event. Upon checking in, you will receive a commemorative tasting glass and a wristband. You will not be served alcohol without these items.
• Responsible Service: Tasting sizes are limited in accordance with ABC licensing (wine/beer = 3oz pour max, spirits = 1oz pour max). Please limit tastings to one per person, per each participating business. All alcohol must be consumed prior to leaving downtown business (discard receptacles will be available to dispose of unwanted tastings).
• Accessibility: Downtown sidewalks and crossings are generally accessible. If you need accommodation, please contact us in advance so we can assist.
• Weather: The event is planned to proceed rain or shine.
