Bakers Birkenstock is a two-store, family-owned sit-and-fit shoe store, you sit, and they fit you. They carry multiple brands of comfort footwear, socks, and accessories. The Chico store will be celebrating 50 years of business in 2026, and the Paradise store will be celebrating 40 years. They offer gift certificates and special order services.

About the Owner

Celeste, the owner, responded by saying:
"I was raised in Paradise and still happily reside there. I started working for my parents in 1986 and purchased the stores in 1999, and my parents still help out on a regular basis."

What do you love about being in Downtown Chico?

"I love the unique shops and how we all send customers to each other when we don't have what they are looking for."
