Year Round Events

Chico's Downtown City Plaza is a welcoming space with an eye-catching performance area, a picturesque water feature, landscaping all around, and a veteran's memorial. A large Blue Atlas Cedar Tree lies at the center of the park and is used for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting every year. The plaza hosts numerous concerts, art shows, culinary festivals, and large city events. See Signature Events for annual events held at or near the City Plaza.

Nichols Melburg & Rossetto, Principal David Rogers, collaborated with Land Image Landscape Architects, City of Chico officials, DCBA and the local community to renovate the City Plaza into the crown jewel it is today.
