The Thursday Night Market transforms Downtown Chico into a vibrant, open-air celebration of community each week from April through September. With over 200 vendors, the market brings together local farmers, makers, food vendors, nonprofits, and small businesses for an experience that is as dynamic as it is welcoming.

Stroll through downtown and discover fresh, locally grown produce, handmade goods, and unique finds while enjoying a lively lineup of musicians, performers, and entertainers. Each month introduces a new themed experience, from health and wellness to outdoor adventure, cultural celebration, nonprofit engagement, weddings, and even pets, giving every visit something new to explore.

Families can enjoy expanded kids' activities and interactive experiences, while community organizations and local services connect with residents in meaningful ways. With bike valet available, late-night shopping and dining, and a continually evolving mix of vendors, the market offers something for everyone.

More than just an event, the Thursday Night Market is a weekly tradition, an opportunity to gather, support local, and celebrate what makes Chico feel like home.

The market takes place rain or shine (cancelled only if temperatures exceed 110° during market hours). Per CA Health & Safety Code 114259.5, only service animals are permitted.
