We Are Downtown Chico

We Are Downtown Chico is a no-cost, community-focused marketing campaign by the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) created to celebrate and promote the local businesses that make downtown Chico unique. The campaign showcases the shops, restaurants, and people who are the heart of our downtown, featuring regular business spotlights across DCBA social media channels and the DCBA website.

Key aspects of the campaign include:

Support Local Focus: Encourages the community to shop local and support small business owners and the local economy.
Business Spotlights: Highlights individual downtown businesses through stories and photos, featuring owners, staff, and business offerings.
Community Storytelling: Celebrates the character, culture, and events that define Downtown Chico.
Member Promotion: Provides DCBA members with increased visibility and promotional support.

The campaign uses the hashtag #WeAreDowntownChico to connect and share these stories across social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram (combined 50,000+ followers!).
